Hayato's Return

On April 6^th, I woke up to the sound of my neighbor Hayato’s rubber ball bouncing outside. I opened my second-story window and we chatted a bit. He was killing time, waiting for his friend to arrive; then they were off to the batting cages to enjoy their last day of Spring Break.

The following day they entered the 3^rd grade.
